Are you unsure about yoga and have many questions?

That's completely understandable, it can be intimidating when you see the images in the media. I'm happy to say that yoga is so much more than what you see and can be accessible to everyone. You do not have to be flexible, strong or a certain body type.  Come as you are, and that it perfect enough.  

In my journey, I was uncertain about attending classes and unsure of so many things which held me back in embracing the healing benefits of yoga.  That's why I've decided to create this series to encourage you in taking that one step into this holistic practice, that can radically shift your life. You are welcome and accepted here, and there is no comparison or competition.  I'm hoping this opportunity will allow you to experience the incredible healing benefits of a yoga practice.

You will learn about:
- Philosophy of Yoga
- Asanas (poses)
- Pranayama (breathwork)
- Meditation

We will be practicing on the floor, so if you have any challenges getting up and down, I recommend you attend the Chair Yoga class offered on Fridays at 11am instead.  This will be a 5-week series, Tuesday evenings from 6-7PM, starting on January 3rd - January 31st.  We will take our time discussing various aspects of yoga and then practicing ourselves. 

Join me, Marcia Cook, in this transformative introduction to yoga series.  I'm a certified yoga teacher and holistic life and wellness coach.  My passion is to share what I've learned over the years in my healing journey and be your guide into creating the best version of yourself.
